Mark Kreitzer is an award-winning songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, playing not only the guitar, mandolin and banjo but also the mandola, mandocello, fiddle, Dobro and bass. He has been performing since 1968 and writing songs for close to 30 years. Currently, Kreitzer is a member of the Minnesota Rock and Country Hall of Fame as a member of the Middle Spunk Creek Boys as wel as the gypsy jazz band, Clearwater Hot Club. He has recorded and performed with several other bands across the Midwest. In addition to being an Adjunct Professor at Carleton College, Kreitzer teaches songwriting at Cretin-Derham Hall High School in St. Paul, Minn. With a Master’s Degree in German and another in French, Kreitzer’s accomplishments and talents are numerous.
