KelloggToday, Kellogg beckons visitors to its shady park and picnic area in the center of town and to a favorite sledding hill and overlook.  Downtown Kellogg is home to Bouquet Enterprise, a wholesaler of interior decorating products.

Huge savings can be found at their outlet store located in downtown Kellogg.  Across the street you can venture to the Town & Country Cafe where home style cookin is filling your appetite!  Before you leave downtown Kellogg, check out the clothing selection at Lil'Critters clothing store and pick up your next travel information at Charter Travel.  Across Hwy 61 on LARK Lane you will find LARK Toys which contains an antique toy museum, a hand carved carousel, and miniature golfing facilities.

You can also shop online at:  www.larktoys.com   Lark Toys is a popular attraction amongst the young and old. SVJ Creative Designs is Minnesota's largest concrete statue producer and is located at the top of State Hwy 42.  Go 1/2 mile south of Kellogg on Hwy 61 and turn right onto State Hwy 42 and it is just two miles at the top of the hill.  SVJ Creative Designs has a retail shop operating year round which sells concrete statues, antique furniture, silhouettes, and also has top quality, handcrafted ironwork products produced on site.

There are also garden paths to walk.  In addition to retail sales, SVJ Creative Designs sells their products to shops and nurseries. Shop On-line:  www.svjcreativedesigns.com  Another portion of SVJ Creative Designs is that owner Dave Speedling  has 25 years experience in creating custom, decorative iron railings for homes and businesses.  SVJ Creative Designs has been featured on 'Going Places' and has had many featured write ups.  Group tours are available to see the producing and finishing stages of SVJ Creative Designs concrete statues and can be arranged by phoning:  507-767-3039 or info@svjcreativedesigns.com

Travel further up Hwy 42 and you will be in rumored Al Capone territory.  Not much is mentioned, but as that rumor goes, Al Capone spent some time in one of the old homes in the country.  Due to privacy of the current owners, the mystery will remain.  Kellogg is also home to Cowpokes Western Shop located on Hwy 42.  Western apparel and gifts.........they'll bring out the best of the west in you!  www.cowpokeswesternshop.com Their horse arena has been an attraction for rodeos in the past.

Further up Hwy 42 is Midway Motorcross.  Summer pleasure is had by many dirtbike fanatics with races taking place monthly.  Campers, trailers, and bikes bring hundreds to the area.  Last but not least, rural Kellogg is home to the Zumbro Bottoms where campers can go horseback riding and camp with their horse trailers.  Rural Kellogg also features state trails for four wheeling near Snake Creek.

Six miles southeast of town are the sand prairie dunes owned by the Nature Conservancy. The uncommon Blandings Turtle, grasses and wild flowers are native to these 700 acres of managed land, and guideline-conscious visitors are welcome. Kellogg celebrated its 60th Annual Watermelon Fest in September of 2006, and this event will continue on the first weekend following Labor Day. Come for the special events, sliced watermelon, and parade, and then return to enjoy activities and scenery in all four of our seasons.
